Why this is Enjoyable
All the way from Ireland is this band of men that have lightly dramatic and powerful music that entrances its listeners. Very whimsical in some ways, this song is a great and positive-sounding song that encourages its listeners (in this case, ladies) to keep working hard and go for the top. Instead of empowerment, this song provides inspiration. This is another song that changes my mood optimistically, and I definitely want to share it with others as well.

This is true no matter what the case may be. If somebody wants to be the best or be in charge, you’ve definitely have to work harder and think smarter. Not only does the beginning of the song just lay it out for listeners and would-be leaders, but the next line mentions competition coming around the corner. So, in life, not only do we have to work hard, but we have to be careful of the competition.

• “Let’s make this happen, girl
  You gonna show the world that something good can work
  and it can work for you
  and you know that it will”

Don’t let the address of “girl” scare the masculine audience away—this line is great for confidence. It’s almost as if somebody’s cheering you on and encouraging you to make something happen. In fact, there’s encouragement to bring that change to the world. Not only are we being told that we can make things happen and show others, but we also KNOW that it will work for us. Despite the casual sound of the song, these are some powerful lyrics.

• “Let’s get this started, girl
  We’re moving up, we’re moving up. It’s been a lot to change
  But you will always get what you want”

In addition to the previous lines, there’s this particular set of lyrics that follows which enhances the kind of encouragement and confidence being expressed earlier. Again, leaders are self-motivators and ready to get things started, and when they work harder they start moving up. Despite the new changes and responsibilities that a leader will get, they can always get what they want if they do it in the right ways.

Leadership Summary
Take charge, go for your goal, remain positive and keep going, because something good can work. There’s a lot to change, but you can get what you want (it’s a tough road, but work at it and reach your goal).
